♦♦Update-We have designed a new LOGO for Road Rules for Reid to try to get the message across especially about using the seat belt. Below is a picture of the design.
He was about to embark on his senior year of high school. He was looking forward to being a big man on campus as a SENIOR and couldn't wait to go off to college and have the time of his life. He was definitely social butterfly and never met a stranger.
If he wasn't with his friends, he loved to spend his free time at the family hunting plantation.
And he loved girls!! He was known to be a ladies man and managed to charm most of the girls his age as well as their mothers.
Like most teenagers, Reid had a voracious appetite but he was unique in the fact that he was quite a little chef. Even though he loved to hunt, he was also a huge animal lover and enjoyed raising and breeding dogs. He was a dedicated worker at his family's business that he had hoped to take over one day.
The fact is, Reid had everything going for him
until his life was tragically cut short
the night of June 3, 2006.
Speeding around a dangerous curve in the dark, while texting, having consumed alcohol earlier in the day, and not wearing a seat belt proved to be a deadly combination. Had he not been doing all those things, he could still be alive today.
Unfortunately, as heart-breaking as it is, there is nothing that can be done to bring Reid back
but his family is trying to create awareness of the danger so that it doesn't happen to YOU!
